I get asked quite a lot if "exercising is essential to lose weight". The answer to that is a fat and rambunctious NO 😅 So get those trainers off and listen: Exercise is necessary to keep your bones, bone tissue and muscles strong through your life. The process of Ossification (The formation of bones - This is why calcium is so important) starts before you are even born, and as you grow the thickness of your epiphyseal plates gradually decreases, and the process ends. This occurs between the ages of 18 and 30. So, in the critical period of 0 - 18 years, physical activity is essential to secure your bone strength and allow you to live a constantly happy, healthy and strong life. Plus, it means that the risk of injury is reduced. 🤗 So, to revert back to the question, exercising is NOT essential to lose weight, as your diet is The Most Important aspect in that regard, and is even more important in maintaining your bone health & strength. But to retain your ability to even get out of bed in the morning, it is definitely essential, and should be a staple in anyone's life. 🏃‍♀️🤸‍♂️ | Combine a healthy 'diet' with constant physical maintenance and your bone health and strength will stay as youthful as ever! Pará encender tu sistema cardio vascular en día de pierna, te recomiendo que comiences con 10 minutos en la escalera sin fin(igual puedes calentar saltando la cuerda, en la elíptica, o en la caminadora). Al bajar calienta bien tu espalda baja, con una serie de hip thrust(elevaciones de cadera) y otra serie de hiperextensiones de espalda. Eleva tus cargas progresivamente en el primer ejercicio. As my last pic have been taken down for no apparent reasons! Slow-digesting proteins such as casein protein and cottage cheese can help overnight protein balance and prevent muscle breakdown between long periods of meal/protein feedings. This can be useful pre-sleep and before various forms of fasting. . Consuming protein pre-sleep appears to improve overnight muscle protein synthesis as well as morning metabolism, satiety, whole-body protein balance and overnight recovery. . Casein protein and other forms of slow digesting protein has a greater affect on protein balance over long periods of sleep (i.e. 7h) than whey protein . Faster digesting proteins stimulate muscle protein synthesis at a much greater rate than slow digesting  proteins. This is why whey protein is best consumed when immediate growth and recovery is the goal, which is particularly the case post-workout.
