Taken from my Blog "The Word Coach…"
This is from 2017, but I still feel the same about what the word Coach means, in relation to personal trainers these days.
How everyone uses it like I am supposed to trust these people actually knowing anything about coaching another human being or groups of humans in fitness.
Another potential offensive blog if you are an online coach. Not about ALL, just some. Sorry, not sorry.
My Blog, my social media. I have opinions and I will express them.
The blog is short enough I could post the whole thing here, but that isn't my plan.

The word "coach" is thrown around and all lifters are supposed to respect the title.
"Some" coaches I have met, not so knowledgeable as they promote themselves as, just an observation.
Copy/Paste Pre-Written Workouts, Diets, Schedules.
Doing whole workouts on one machine. Stuff Like that.
To me, from experience, coach means, personal trainer with no credentials.
Coach was a word/title we would give to under age trainers or trainers that were not certified but, they had a body and gym's hired these kids.
That isn't someone I want to trust with my fitness. Just Saying.
Credentials could be anything from certifications, to years of experience & knowledge or just plain passion for their craft.
When I give advice to someone it comes from the heart.
It comes from 30 years of training. It comes from being a former “Certified” Personal Trainer.
Listen to your body. It will talk to you when your mind is quiet, at rest… Breathe…
Communicate like a normal person and talk to other people. Learn all you can learn…
Do not rely on someone that isn’t going to put you 1st.
Hey this is good s**t, but yet I feel like I have to constantly remind people that fitness is more than just the weights, the food, the supplements or there lack of....
It’s a very personal connection with YOU... Your subconscious mind…
I do this for the mental/emotional/spiritual gains first and my body just follows at a later date.
That’s it, my big secret…
Ha.. Good Preworkout and Metal, yes, lots of metal…
