The Clock EP comes out February 7th! Here’s a sneak-peak of the title track. 🕰
I wrote and recorded this debut EP between ages 14 and 17, a period of my life during which I’ve thought constantly about my love/hate relationship with time: longing to mature without ever growing up, embracing nostalgia or clarity from the past, dreaming about the future, and drawing connections between the past, present, and future, all while trying to living in the moment. I have a life philosophy that in order to know your present or future self, you need to know and respect your past self. I’ve learned to look for the unique value in every stage of my life, be it bitter, sweet, or bittersweet, because I know that I will look back on it someday and see that it mattered in becoming who I am. In a way, looking at moments through the lens of my past and future helps me appreciate the present.
CDs will be available for purchase starting on the 7th, and the EP will reach streaming platforms (Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, Apple Music, Tidal, and many more) soon after.
