Vegan raw meatballs. What the heck does that mean though?? 🧐🤔🤨 In Turkey a delicacy is meatballs made from raw mince (çiğ köfte). This recipe primarily uses bulgar to create an authentic, meat-free alternative to this dish. Ohh, how delighted I was to see them in the store this morning.🍀😍 They always remind me of my Croatia, relaxing and long summer and my Mediterranean vacation (which is likely to be skipped this year :( ). Πριν λίγο καιρό έφτιαξα για 1η φορά σπιτικό ψωμάκι ολικής 100% (συνταγή του @akis_petretzikis) και βγήκε τοοοόσο νόστιμη και ήταν τοοοοόσο πανεύκολη που σας την συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα..❗👌 . 👉 Υλικά 🔹400 γρ. νερό, χλιαρό 🔹8 γρ. μαγιά ξηρή 🔹1 κ.σ. μέλι 🔹2 κ.σ. ελαιόλαδο 🔹600 γρ. αλεύρι ολικής άλεσης (εγώ έβαλα 500γρ σταρένιο και 100γρ σικάλεως) 🔹1 κ.γ. βρόμη 🔹1 κ.γ. σουσάμι 🔹1 κ.γ. ηλιόσπορο 🔹1/2 κ.γ. αλάτι 👉 Για το "πανάρισμα" του ψωμιού 🔹2 κ.σ. βρόμη 🔹2 κ.σ. σουσάμι 🔹2 κ.σ. ηλιόσπορο 👉 Μέθοδος Εκτέλεσης (από το site του) Σε ένα μπολ βάζουμε το νερό, τη μαγιά, το μέλι και ανακατεύουμε με ένα σύρμα χειρός. Προσθέτουμε το ελαιόλαδο, το αλεύρι, τη βρόμη, τον παπαρουνόσπορο, το σουσάμι, τον ηλιόσπορο και αλάτι. Ιδανικά αφήνουμε 10 λεπτά να ενεργοποιηθεί η μαγιά. Ανακατεύουμε με μια κουτάλα μέχρι να δέσει το μείγμα. Μόλις δέσει συνεχίζουμε να ζυμώνουμε με τα χέρια μας μέχρι να έχουμε μια ελαστική ζύμη. Μεταφέρουμε σε λαδωμένο μπολ, καλύπτουμε με μεμβράνη και αφήνουμε να διπλασιαστεί σε όγκο. Βάζουμε τη βρόμη και τους υπόλοιπους σπόρους σε ένα μπολ. Κόβουμε τα ζύμη σε δύο κομμάτια και τα βάζουμε στο μπολ. Μεταφέρουμε σε ταψί με λαδόκολλα και καλύπτουμε με πετσέτα. Αφήνουμε περίπου 30 λεπτά να φουσκώσουν. Προθερμαίνουμε τον φούρνο στους 170ο C στον αέρα. Χαράσσουμε το κάθε ζυμάρι σε 3-4 σημεία και ψήνουμε για 45 λεπτά. . 👩‍🏫 Tips Διατροφής.. ❇️ Πολύσπορο ψωμί δεν σημαίνει αυτομάτως ολικής.. ❗🙁 ❇️ Το "Ολικής άλεσης" ψωμί δεν ξέρεις από ποιο δημητριακό είναι (μπορει να είναι σικάλεως, καλαμποκιού, σιταριού ολικής κοκ) 🙄 ❇️ Το "ΜΕ" αλεύρι ολικής που συχνά βλέπεις σε δημητριακά, ψωμί, φρυγανιές κλπ είναι συχνά παραπλανητικό, αφού συνήθως το περισσότερο αλεύρι είναι από αποφλοιωμένα δημητριακά.. Check ετικέτες για 1ο συστατικό.. 😉 . ITS FRIDAY 🥳 this week I’ve been in abit of a weird mood 🙄 i think it’s because the weather is so hot I’m finding it difficult when to work out, early morning but that means getting up earlier and eating breakfast too early meaning I will be hungry all morning or late afternoon when it’s hot 🥵 I’m sunbathing all day and beating myself up for not getting a workout in and I feel like if I leave it till later I will talk my self out of it because I can’t be bothered or it’s too hot 🥵 and I’ve been wanting to do the splits for so long but every day I’ve talked myself out of doing it which is kinda annoying because I’m so determined to get the splits 😾 on saying that though, I have done a workout every day this week ✌🏽 I’ve not been eating 100% amazingly, my portion sizes have been too big meaning I’m consuming too many calories so next week I’m going to start back at it again 👊🏼

I’m a very hot-and-cold gardener, but when I do get out in the garden, I love it. These are our snow peas at the moment... Funnily, Greta (4) will happily eat the snow peas/spinach/zucchini/cucumber if she picks it herself and eats it in the garden, but she’s not a fan if they’re put on her plate! This willingness to try different foods has been shown to be one of the benefits of growing fruit and veggies in your own garden. And, if you all get your hands into the soil, you’re probably increasing your gut diversity as well, which is linked to better overall health outcomes! 🍓🥒🥦🥕🌽🍋🍎🥔🥬🍊(Gibbs et al. 2013; Winfried et al. 2019)

Stuffed Artichokes | Mamalicious •Recipe• 1 bag frozen artichoke hearts 3-4 small potatoes Oil for frying 200g minced lamb 1 small onion minced 1 tbsp cinnamon powder 1 tbsp all spice Handful of pinenuts 1/2 squeezed lemon 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp all spice 1 cup vegetable stock 1 tbsp flour Salt to taste Peel the potatoes. Cut a small hole into the center of the potato, big enough to stuff it (see video for your reference). Boil the artichokes until they are soft. Heat some oil and fry the artichokes and potatoes until red. (You can skip this for a lighter option and simply boil the potatoes). Set aside. Fry the onion in some oil, once translucent, add the minced lamb and cook through. Add 1 tbsp of cinnamon, 1 tbsp all spice and some salt to taste. Once mixed in and cooked through, add the handful of pinenuts. Preheat the oven to 210c. In a pirex, place the artichoke hearts and potatoes. Stuff each once with the with the minced lamb, and set aside. In a cup, place the lemon juice, stock, 1 tbsp of flour, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp all spice, and salt to taste. Mix the sauce well, and pour it over the stuffed artichokes and potatoes. Cover with aluminum paper and place it in the oven for 20mins. Uncover, and allow to bake for another 10 mins. Served with vermicelli rice. Zutaten für 2 Personen: . 1 Salatgurke 150 – 200 g gemischten Salat 1 Portion Camembert Käse grüne Oliven 1 TL Frischen Dill 1 TL Limettensaft 1 EL Olivenöl ½ TL Weißweinessig gehackte Haselnüsse . Die Gurke und den Salat sorgfältig waschen und klein schneiden. Den Camembert Käse in mundgerechte Portionen aufteilen und mit Oliven zum Salat geben. Catch up... It’s been a pretty good week food and exercise wise. For the first time I’ve made the Curry Chicken Soup and Spicy Bean Soup from the #fast800recipebook OH EM GEE! So delish! And the roasted almonds on top of the chicken one made it! I added the diced bacon to the bean one as well 👌🏼 they will be a regular for these wintery days. . On Thursday I treated myself to lunch at @thetributecafe - their chilli scram is AMAZING!!! . Other meals I’ve just tried to keep it pretty simple. .
