annie’s pov :
as annie made her way down the hall, she was scrolling through instagram and turned a corner. *BAM* annie went flying backwards. she had run into someone.
? - “oh my god! i’m so sorry!”
a - “no it was my fault i wasn’t looking where i was going-“
when annie finally looked up to see who it was she had run into, it was the boy! from the plane!
? - “it’s you!”
a - “actually, it’s annie.”
they both laughed.
aa (asher angel) - “i’m asher.”
he held out both of his hands and helped annie off the ground.
aa - “well annie, it is lovely to meet you.”
whenever they talked, they didn’t break eye contact, not once. it was like a magnetic pull, keeping there eyes locked on the others.
a - “so what are you doing out of your room so late? curfew was 20 minutes ago.”
aa - “well i could ask you the same thing.”
asher raised one eyebrow and annie could feel her face getting hot underneath her smile.
a - “i’m getting some bottles of water, and you?”
aa - “extra shampoos for my room.”
breaking their conversation, they heard multiple adult voices coming from just around the corner.
aa - “curfew checks!”
asher has a stunned look on his face.
a - “a what?”
asher gently grabbed annie’s hand and led her down the hall in a haste.
aa - “it’s school sponsors that make sure everyone is in there rooms on time. if your not, they bench you from the next days activities. and i’m sure you don’t want that”
asher turned around to annie and gave her a big smile as he pulled her into what seemed to be a supplies closet. it was dark, and smelt of pool chemicals. the two giggled as they got situated. when they could hear the sponsors, asher put a single finger to annie’s lips, signaling her to be quiet. annie notice how close they were. their bodies were about an inch apart, his hands on her arms, and hers on his shoulders. she could feel his breathe. even in the dark, she could see the outline of his sparkling green eyes. it sounded as if the noise had stopped, then all of the sudden, the door swings open!
