𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐎𝐧 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞
Three years ago my morning routine consisted of waking up with just enough time to roll out of bed, hop in the shower, rush arrive gathering whatever I needed for the day, and zoom to work
Scattered, rushed, unsettled. All terrible feelings to start that day.
𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘐 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘪𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘴𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘢𝘺, 𝘐 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘶𝘵.
I started getting up 10min earlier in short increments of time. I read 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘭𝘦 𝘔𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨. I attempted a few minutes of meditation. I started writing down 3 things I’m grateful for daily. I started to consistently workout 30min every morning.
2.5 years later, my mornings are the most important part of my day. The rush, unsettled, anxious feelings are gone. My traffic filled ride to and from work are easily shrugged off. I read personal development, journal about what I’m grateful for, read my vision, and try my best to 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐎𝐧 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 every.single.day.
