It's the little things that can change it all up! 🔥 Ever just sat on the leg press, thrown your feet up and lashed out a couple of reps, we all have but maybe next time pay more attention to where you place your 👣 Foot placement while execution the leg press determines what parts of the leg we are focusing on during the exercise. If you are looking to work everything then the standard feet located in the middle of the plate and hip width apart is the best way to go. But for some of us we have parts of our legs which are weaker then others and there for need to work on them parts more. 💪 Looking at the top formation we have the heels of the feet touching with the toes pointing outwards and the feet lower on the plateform. This allows for the vastus medialis (inside of the quad) to work more. The middle formation see's us lift our feet to the middle of the plateform, have our feet pointing straight forward and roughly 8 inches apart. This formation allows us to focus more on the rectus femoris and vastus lateralis muscles (the muscle in the middle and outside of thigh. Lastly the bottom picture show the feet higher on the plate again with the feet wider then shoulder width and tows slightly pointing out. With the feet like this you will work the hamstring and glute muscles (your butt cheeks and back of your thighs) more. The final 2 things you want to make sure you are doing with the leg press, 1) make sure you don't lock your knees at the top, keep a soft knee and this will help prevent nasty injuries. 2) control the tempo make sure you slow down the movement, for example 3 seconds down 1 second up, this will keep your muscles under tension for longer and make them work harder. If you answered yes to all of these questions or even just one of them...pay attention, if you answered no to all of them then congratulations on your culinary career 😁😂 for those of you that said yes, first, you need a reliable thermometer, I use and recommend a Comark thermometer, waterproof and reliable, whether you grill, sauté or bake your fish, the final temperature for flaky, moist and flavorful white fish (baked cod pictured) is 144 degrees, NO MORE or NO LESS, once your fish reaches 144 degrees, let it rest for 4 minutes, place in the refrigerator uncovered for at least an hour, or until the cooked fish reaches 39 degrees or lower, bacteria cannot survive under 40 degrees so lets be safe, the seasoning I used on this fish is one that I created, don’t forget to DM for a recipe...why white fish? Fish is a high-protein, low-fat food that provides a range of health benefits, white-fleshed fish, in particular, is lower in fat than any other source of animal protein, and oily fish are high in omega-3 fatty acids, or the "good" fats. Since the human body can’t make significant amounts of these essential nutrients, fish are an important part of the diet. Today I’ve reached a milestone in my life that I could never achieve. 2 years sober, damn how time goes by really quick. Despite saying in my previous post I would not weigh this week, I couldn’t help myself and thought I’d be honest with you guys! The whole weekend was off plan, a lot of food was consumed and I saw my best friend who I hardly see anymore, so I have zero regrets 😊 time to get back on plan and smash it this week! 👊🏻

First time training back in like 3 weeks. Finally got a nice session in at the gym for about 2 and a half hours with my dad @9__finger ! 😁 Did some chest and then upper back. Ended it with arms. 💪 Did 4 sets of pull ups, 4 sets of shrugs and 7 sets of pull downs 3 variations. Lastly killed arms. Felt rusty and even a lil weak but I bounce back quick! 🤘 I'll be back to normal soon. 🙏
