Porcentajes de grasa ¿Cómo deberías medir tu progreso? 🤔 Las personas al querer bajar de peso y sus porcentajes de grasa se ven frustradas, cada vez que se suben a la báscula no ven progreso y creen que no se está logrando progreso alguno.🤷‍♂️ Recordemos que, aunque existen basculas que miden porcentajes de grasa por medio de una corriente eléctrica imperceptible (Electro impedancia, es una corriente eléctrica imperceptible que pasa por el cuerpo y mide la densidad de la grasa y la cantidad de agua 💧y musculo💪) hay muchas otras que no difieren entre la grasa y el musculo, por ende, puede que se haya ganado peso sustentado en masa muscular y se piense que no ha reducido esos porcentajes de grasa😢. Antes existía la creencia que el bajar los porcentajes de grasa y aumentar masa corporal al mismo tiempo era imposible lo cual la evidencia actual ha desmitificado (recomposición corporal)🏋️‍♂️ Existen métodos más fiables y exactos para medir estos porcentajes👍👌 como lo son la antropometría, o tras formas de medición que usan electro impedancia. Oxidar grasa localizadamente es imposible, el cuerpo no oxida grasa en partes especificas del cuerpo. Existen dos tipos de grasa la grasa visceral (aquella grasa que se encuentra localizada alrededor de los órganos) y la subcutánea (esta se encuentra localizada entre la piel y el musculo), Cuando se comienza a realizar actividad física el cuerpo oxida primero la grasa visceral y despues la grasa subcutánea.🏃‍♂️🏋️‍♂️ Existen predisposiciones genéticas que hacen que una persona se le dificulte más perder grasa a comparación de otras, tales como el somatotipo (ectomorfo, mesomorfo, endomorfo). Whether you think you can, or you can't.. either way you're right. The amount of times I heard this in a training video or read it as an inspirational quote before it actually hit me and I understood what they were trying to get at, was more times than I'd like to admit. Have you ever done that? Heard something multiple times but never really gave it much thought until BAMM 💥 it hits you like a ton of bricks and you're sat there thinking, HOW did I not get this?! Maybe I wasn't ready to accept the fact that I was getting in my own way of the goals I was trying to achieve. Or my brain just couldn't comprehend that me thinking I 'can't' do something is just a choice I had made? I remember growing up my Dad used to say 'there is no such word as can't', and you know what? It's true! You can. You will. End of story.

This isn’t a video to show a cool at home workout that you can do. This is just a post to talk about pace. Ive been getting a decent pump even without having the weights that I’m used to. But after agreeing to let liv to train me again I’ve been pushed to the brink of death every single set. It’s not because I’m not capable of lifting the weight or that I don’t know the exercises she prescribes. - It’s simply because we set goals for our life and our team that are bigger than anything we have ever even imagined before. And as soon as we committed to those goals Corona changed the pace of the world. So, in order for us to be successful we must adjust to the pace and then set a even higher standard for ourselves. In the beginning all change is difficult. Yesterday’s leg day I literally wanted to leave my body. I was so sick I couldn’t even 🤮. I wish I could of just puked it would of been better. - Day 2 was still rough but my mind is adjusting and so my body is following. I know your pace is changing too. It’s important to remember that greater is within you then what is within the world. Not only will you adjust, but if you make the conscious intention to face this head on you can set a whole new pace. More than anything the energy and spirit you cultivate will not only be a blessing for you but a blessing for everyone in your energy field. I gotta thank @oliviaoshodin for setting the pace. Couldn’t ask for a better spotter then the one that would rather see you die then slow down 😂.
