My first time attempting veal! (Or red meat in general)🥩🥩 I diced my potatoes and mixed them with olive oil & oregano & paprika & salt and throw them in the oven I seared the meat in clarified butter with fresh rosemary and oregano. Then I put them next to my potatoes in the oven Using the same pan I used to sear my meat, I sauteed my asparagus and added a bit of salt for taste. I served my meat with some freshly ground black pepper. It wasn't so bad for first try! It’s grilling season and as exciting as all the meats are to cook - for me there’s nothing tastier than throwing a whole lot of farm fresh veggies on the grill. This mix of seasonal greens served as a perfect accompaniment to our bbq pork. The fresher your vegetables, the less intervention they need. Just a brush of olive oil and some salt and pepper. I served them with a homemade ramp chimichurri but you really don’t need a sauce to go with these. Just putting those grill marks and some char on those veggies takes them to the next level. I chose a combination of ramps, scallions, asparagus and zucchini- as that was part of my veggie haul from @unsqgreenmarket and @queensfarm. ................................................................................................................................................ Grilled Asparagus, Ramps, Scallions & Zucchini Serves 4 Ingredients: 1 bunch asparagus, cleaned and tough bottom ends removed 1 bunch scallions, root ends trimmed and thoroughly cleaned 1 bunch ramps, root ends trimmed and thoroughly cleaned 1 large zucchini, sliced into circles Extra virgin olive oil Salt Freshly ground black pepper Method: * * Prepare an outdoor grill to medium high heat. * Brush the asparagus, ramps, scallion & zucchini with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. * Place the asparagus & zucchini on the grill and cook for at least 3 minutes until the desired tenderness is achieved. Brush with olive oil if required and flip the sides to cook evenly. * Remove and place on a platter. * Lay the scallions and ramps on the grill. * Cook until you start seeing grill marks (2 to 3 minutes). The leafy part will cook faster than the bulb but I like it to be a little extra charred. * Grill the bulbs until they turn translucent and soften. Last night we watched a few episodes of @nadiyajhussain Time to Eat on Netflix (10/10 recommend by the way for those who don’t have a ton of time to spend in the kitchen) and she made this delicious”egg roll” that we knew had to be for breakfast today after an easy 4 miles! The deets: Wisk 1 egg and 1 egg white with parsley salt and pepper, throw that in a hot pan with about a teaspoon of oil. Let it cook for a few seconds, too with toppings of choice (for us that was olives spinach and jalapeños). Чизкейк без выпечки 🍰 ⠀ Ингредиенты на форму 22 см.(у меня разъемная в форме сердца) ◽450 грамм печенья (у меня Буратино с орехами); ◽150 грамм сливочного масла; ◽350 грамм творога( у меня домашний-жирный) ◽150 мл сливок 15%; ◽100 грамм сахарной пудры(хотите слаще - добавьте больше) ◽15 грамм желатина; ◽ клубника, кокосовая стружка. ⠀ Готовим👩‍🍳 Для основы измельчаем печенье в блендере, растапливаем в микроволновке масло, добавляем в крошку. Если масса будет плохо лепится добавте немного молока. Застилаем форму пищевой плёнкой ( дно и бока) и утрамбовываем нашу основу. Убираем в морозилку минут на 20. ⠀ Займёмся творожной частью: для начала разведём желатин по инструкции. Творог взбиваем погружным блендером до однородной текстуры, добавляем сливки и сахарную пудру , ещё раз хорошенько всё взбиваем. Желатин растопить в микроволновке ( не кипятить) Добавить в творожную массу ,взбить до однородности. ⠀ На основу из печенья выкладываем слой клубнички,и сверху выливаем творожную начинку. Убираем в морозилку на 30 минут ,после чего перемещаем наш чизкейк в холодильник. ⠀ Когда чизкейк полностью застыл, вынимаем с формы и украшаем по желанию! 🎂 ⠀ #jyl_recipes #lovecook

Kung Pao Chicken from @thewoksoflife!! My husband: "best Chinese takeout I've never had" so success?! 🏆🏆🏆 . Super straight forward recipe with all the Chinese pantry ingredients. I substituted dry chili with Thai bird eyes, and tossed in some bell pepper for that takeout feel. The real MVP is corn starch! Saturdays are for savory waffles! 🧇 I often use the trusted Belgian waffle mix from @krusteaz and simply add in some of our favorite cheese and herbs for a savory version over the sweet counterpart. To this morning’s serving of 2-3 waffles, I added 2/3 cups Cheddar Cheese, 2 chopped scallions, and 1 tsp freeze dried Dill. Simply serve with a pat of butter. Happy Saturday, folks.

Eat your veggies to stay healthy and to stay in shape. This is a complete meal packed with all the good stuff!! It contains baby spinach, baby arugula, kale, homemade hummus and 2 thin, and by thin I mean see-through slices of beef prosciutto. When you compose everything together, be careful not to put too much meat- It’s important to consume more veggies in order to stay on track with the calories. Extra tip: do not season the veggies with salt because when they combine with the hummus and the prosciutto the taste is great and you don’t need extra salt. Chicken Hariyali | Hara Bhara Chicken Masala | Green Chicken Curry Ingredients : Chicken | Coriander leaves | Pudina (Mint leaves) | Green Chillies | Onion | Ginger-Garlic paste | Cumin powder | Coriander powder | Salt | Pepper | Lime | Garam masala | Oil | Recipe : Wash, Clean and Marinate Chicken in Salt, Pepper, Ginger-Garlic paste and Curd - rest for 30mins || Heat 1tbsp Oil, add 1 finely chopped Onion, add marinated chicken and 1cup water and allow the chicken to boil || Blend the ingredients as shown in picture 3, into smooth paste || Heat 2tbsp Oil in a pan, add Ginger-Garlic paste and cook for 2mins || Now add the blended smooth paste (ref picture 4) || Let this mixture get cooked for 10mins on slow flame || Now add 1tbsp Cumin powder, 1tbsp Coriander powder, 1tbsp Pepper (ref picture 5) - mix well and cook for 5mins || Once the mixture starts leaving oil, add the boiled chicken, 1tbsp Garam masala and Salt as per taste (ref picture 6) || Cover with a lid and cook for 10mins || Squeeze a slice of lime and Serve hot || . . Set up your breading station: one bowl with 1/2 cup flour of choice (I used almond flour), one bowl with 2 eggs whisked, one bowl with 1/3 cup breadcrumbs and 1/3 cup steel cut oats (or all breadcrumbs, but I find the oats add great texture) seasoned with 1/4 tsp chili powder, 1/4 tsp cayenne, 1/4 tsp paprika and 1/2 tsp garlic powder. Coat chicken in flour, then dredge in egg then coat in breadcrumb mixture, pressing breadcrumbs into chicken. Place on air fryer rack, spray with oil and air fry at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Meanwhile, make waffles. Found a frozen @udisglutenfree pizza crust in the freezer and decided to make a simple, garlicky pizza to go with last night’s salad. And now I wish I had more of this crispy crust so I could make it again tonight! 🤤 . This SPICY SHRIMP OVER CREAMY SPINACH CAULIRICE is a great 15-minute meal which uses items I usually have in the fridge and freezer. I always try to keep frozen shrimp and caulirice from @costco in my freezer so I can pull it out and use as needed. You can use kale instead of spinach, omit the greens if you don’t have them, or use regular cream cheese (if you tolerate dairy and don’t have any @kitehillfoods chive cream cheese), as well! Homemade cashew cream (1/2 cup of cashews + 3/4 cup of water, blended) would also work! You can also grill the shrimp instead of sautéing - so many options 😍 . Recipe inspired by @meaningfuleats but added some additional flavorings. Posted below and to my highlights. • I mentioned yesterday that I'm back on @ww and this is a perfect #ww friendly recipe—6 points for 3 pancakes. • • 🥞PANCAKES (yields 5 small): 1 cup rolled oats 1 over ripened banana 2 eggs 1 tbsp cinnamon 1 tbsp vanilla extract pinch of nutmeg dash of salt (I also had some coconut flavored almond milk creamer in my fridge so I added a splash of that for a little extra flavor fun, but you don't need it) Preheat a griddle, cast iron skillet, or non-stick skillet on medium heat with a tablespoon of butter or neutral oil. Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Use a small ladle to spoon batter into the pan. Once you see a few bubbles in the pancake, it's ready to flip. 2 min on the second side. Add your favorite toppings!
