Et pourtant, un peu plus chaque jour, je fais en sorte non seulement de m'accepter telle que je suis mais aussi de m'aimer profondément. Est-ce que les gens savent que parfois leurs mots blessent ? Not blaming work Your schedule Your kids Your difficulties Or your coach/personal trainer for not getting into shape I get it I know things are hard and there’s only so many hours in a day But things aren’t going to change until you own where you’re at and look for ways to do what you need to do Everything you do today has an impact on tomorrow If you aren’t seeing the results you want then you need to do something different Not make excuses or point the finger I never would’ve got where I am today if I blamed my coach, family, or busy schedule Sure I could’ve My parents eat terrible and rarely have healthy food in the house My coach went out of the country months on end and didn’t have a lot of time I had limited time with work But instead of playing the blame game I asked myself: How could I make it to the gym? How could I get healthier food options? How could I manage my time better and do what I needed to do? Trust me, I know everyone struggles with life’s challenges, and things aren’t easy BUT Those who get in shape and stay in shape are the ones who own it and overcome it. Now it’s your turn Get your day started correctly and Write one thing you are grateful here 👇 Something that I started to do years ago was a gratitude calendar I used to just wake up and start my day not really paying much attention and basically being subjected to feel whatever the day had in store for me This gave the chance for negativity to creep in if things didn’t start great So I started doing this instead. In order to start everyday on my terms and happy I started to write down one thing that I was grateful for. I wrote Something that made me feel good about life. It let me be overcome with happiness and that’s now how I start everyday In order to help anyone that needs it I’m now going to do my gratitude calendar here on Instagram and let you partake in it too Every morning I will put one thing I’m grateful for and share my happiness. Support your local CrossFit box amidst the COVID-19 crisis through the fundraiser. No payment required, you can still take part in the workouts. The Support Your Local Box Fundraiser format is as follows: Event Format Over a three-week period, CrossFit will release three classic workouts, each with a scaled option that can be performed with minimal or no equipment by athletes of any ability level. All athletes who participate will have their names displayed on the Open leaderboard during the competition and will be able to create smaller leaderboards among friends, family, and other members of their affiliate by using leaderboard hashtags. Registration will take place on games.crossfit.com/open beginning on or before Wednesday, March 31, and will remain open for the duration of the competition. The first workout will be released on Friday, April 3. How to Get Involved Anyone can participate in the Support Your Local Box Fundraiser. Payment is not required. We understand that many face financial difficulties at this time, and we want everyone in your communities to have the opportunity to participate without barriers. When participants register, they will have the option to select a contribution amount ranging from $20 to $1,000, or participate at no cost. Participants can select which affiliate they want to receive their contribution. When the competition closes, 100% of the proceeds collected will be distributed to affiliates in accordance with their roster of supporters. CrossFit, Inc. will distribute all registration funds to the designated affiliates.

The first cup from my last batch. How did I make it matter: I decided to drink my coffee this morning while standing in the balcony. It was sunny. It was a nice change of scenery. It was my way of spending some time outdoors. I also used a coffee cup I haven’t used in a few months. I love my coffee cups. I have a small collection of them, and each and everyone of them has a specific memory attached to it. Accordingly, I decided that every day I will use a different and relive the memory. This particular cup I bought from @starbucks in spain in 2005. I was in Madrid on a business trip and I decided to start the tradition of buying a Starbucks coffee mug from every country I visit. This was the beginning of my obsession of coffee mugs 😁😁😁😁😁. (The original post: My supply of coffee is running low, and all the places from which I buy my beans are closed. At first I was really bumped out because coffee was my one luxury. An opportunity has been handed to you...take it! With us being in lockdown, I think we are all starting to appreciate our outside time a little more aren’t we? I actually look forward to taking my dog out for a walk when before all this, sometimes it could felt like a bit of a chore. Whether you have a dog or not, getting outside not only benefits our physical health, but our mental health too, seeing the flowers growing up, the leaves starting to appear on the trees, the birds giving that extra tune in the mornings. First we are told 3 weeks, then we are told longer, however long it is going to be, use this time as an opportunity to get healthy. Work on your aerobic capacity, your heart health! That doesn’t mean downloading couch to 5k and blasting it, it means start slow and work up, get the speed of your walk up each day, get your heart pumping and the blood flowing in your veins. Every day you do this you are getting fitter, and stronger! When all this gets too easy either add weight, put some weight in a rucksack and carry it or start lightly jogging. There are ways and means of increasing the resistance to your cardio outside of the gym that will suit your ability, you just have to be a little bit more creative. You will be surprised just how quickly you body will respond to daily activity, how fit you can become and how good you will feel for it, even giving you a spring in your step. And now more than ever is the best time to start saving these. - • Money: Start by reevaluating the things that you would spend on when you were out and about, be it leisure or work-related expenses and cut down where necessary. This could mean ordering in less and learning to cook, or having virtual meetings instead of running up a huge mobile phone bill. - • Time: The tasks you do for work or the activities you do for fun takes up time. This usually means the more time you spend on one, the less time you have for the other. Learning how to do work-related tasks better and more efficiently could give you more time to spend with the family. Or perhaps watching one less Netflix episode will give you that extra hour of energizing sleep you need for the next day. - There's a saying out there: "Money saved is money earned" and this is also true for time. Here are some simple steps to keeping yourself on your toes and being proactive. •Step 1: Set daily and weekly KPI's and do your best to meet them. This could be as simple as a number of phone calls to make, to writing a certain number of emails, to even the number of posts on your social media platforms per day. •Step 2: Set fixed timings through the day for different types of tasks, meetings, even breaks and lunches. Remember not to mix work and play; instead make time for both and enjoy doing it! •Step 3: Set a weekly/monthly goal for yourself or your team and work towards them. Start with small achievable goals like 'getting everyone on Trello' or 'connecting with 5 people a day on LinkedIn' all the way to big goals like 'hit 500k in sales by end of the month' or 'hire 3 new team members'. Following this will start a cycle of 'getting things done' and you'll find yourself becoming more productive as time goes by.
