When I was a little girl growing up, (because of where I come from) I was taught that we had to be careful being in the road, because you could always find one of these or any other wild creature trying to cross over the road. Yes, I grew up climbing trees, playing and swimming in the river, having pets following us with no leash, running in the rain, having lizards visiting my grandma's frontyard at the same hr everyday for lunch,
Taking showers and drinking "tereré" with friends or fam right next to a waterfall (no tickets, no big protocols to assist these places, they where just there for us).
I am my land, Misiones Argentina; where we are lucky enough to still have one of the 7 wonders of the world: The Iguazú Falls; to me...the most tangible form of God. But I am also every human.
The amount of love this Pic brought to my heart for the trust in this animal resting his head in a human shoulder, as well as the tears I shed because of what is happening in Brazil 🇧🇷 makes me want to say 2 things: One, this is Everybody's responsibility (no matter where we all live in the world). When you're out there, respect your surroundings!! Who do we think we are? This is NOT out planet, this is only the planet we live in just like any other living creature. Two, in every and any aspect of life... You change the world by your example NOT your opinion. What are you saying with your example?
Ps: This Pic is not resent (2016) This animal was rescued by the Brazilian military when he was a cub, found in terrible conditions and was put in rehab. He's too weak to got back to his natural habitat, he assists the military and has a "normal" life. The good in bad and the bad in the good. Still good news.
